In December 2011, we conducted an evaluation of BECAS through interviews with the parents and students. Our goal is to create permanent change in the barrio where we operate – this is an evaluation of our effectiveness so far.

Two great news items! Edith, a BECAS Scholar since 2009, has been voted in as the 9th grade class president! And Cinthia, one of newest scholars and in the 2nd grade, was just awarded the 2011 Honor Student diploma from her school!
